Winter is not like summer (obviously!), but spring is like summer and there are so many spring pieces out there that can be worn next season. Especially now, since we didn’t even have the time to wear our “good” spring clothes because of the pandemic. And, by taking into account sustainability and how good is to wear clothing pieces more than once, today I've prepared a list of 7 spring pieces to bring into summer.
1. A midi skirt
A midi skirt passes easily as a piece that can be worn season by season. Even in winter, it is perfect to be paired with tights and ankle boots. Its versatility turns it into a must-have piece that can be easily found in a lot of closets. For today's outfit, I combined this gorgeous midi skirt with a feminine blouse with ruffles and a pair of sandals whose colors perfectly matched the outfit.
How to wear it in summer: with a strappy top, a cotton shirt or with a graphic T-shirt and a pair of sneakers.
2. A puff-sleeved blouse
If I were to name the star blouse of the last few seasons, surely the puff-sleeved blouse would definitely win the competition. And I'm not complaining, on the contrary. I LOVE puff-sleeved blouses - they are feminine, sophisticated, and they give a nice touch to any look.
How to wear it in summer: with shorts, high-waisted jeans or a fun above-the-knee skirt.
3. Your favorite jeans
Here in Romania, we have a nice saying: why should we rediscover the hot water? More precisely, we should use and re-wear something that is good for us. So, in the case of jeans, they are ideal to wear not only during spring. Jeans are those reliable friends you can turn to when you don’t know what to wear.
How to wear them in summer: with a simple white T-shirt and pointed flats or with an oversized dad blazer.
4. A pinafore dress
Preppy-inspired, with straight lines, made of denim or other fabrics, the pinafore dress has become quite versatile in the last few years. A pinafore dress has a lot of styling options: it can be worn with a turtleneck, a sweater, a simple top or a shirt underneath.
How to wear it in summer: definitely with a cotton shirt or with a graphic T-shirt.
5. Artwork-inspired heels
I don’t know if this is the happiest expression I could find, but I think it’s the closest to reality. More precisely, everything that means shoes with a curved heel or in an artistic form can be included in this category. Hot and trendy, shoes with asymmetrical heels represent the stars of the summer.
How to wear them in summer: with a shirt dress, a midi dress or with a high-waisted skirt paired with a feminine top.

Let me tell you a little secret about summer trends: knitwear will be HUGE. It has that vibe that seems to say - I look-good-without-too-much-effort. Versatile, pleasant, and easy to wear, knitted tops are the stars of a modern closet.
