There are a lot of ways in which you can reset yourself, but one of the most efficient ones is when you say "Stop", you make the luggage and you spend a nice weekend getaway. It's normal and natural to feel that way. Though this trip took place 3 months ago, I thought I may inspire you. So stay with me to discover the serenity in a royal city.

HOW TO GET TO SINAIA

Sinaia, also known as the “Pearl of the Carpathian Mountains” or the “Royal City”, is a city that has a mountain resort vibe and is located in Prahova Valley, Romania. Due to its fantastic location on the map, access to Sinaia is made easy by two means of transport: either by car or by train. Darius and I chose the second option since we don't have a car.

WHERE TO STAY IN SINAIA

Thank God, there are a lot of beautiful places where you can stay in this amazing city. Usually, we use booking.com and airbnb.com to find what best suits us, so please check out these two platforms. In that weekend we chose to stay at the Rina Sinaia Hotel and we made the best decision ever. Perfectly located near the train station and the center, the hotel has a restaurant that offers excellent food, an indoor pool, and a sauna. We really liked the panoramic view we had over the city. In the pictures, you can see what I & #8217; m talking about.

WHAT TO VISIT IN SINAIA

Before I start with the biggest tourist attractions, I must mention the bohemian serenity that can be felt in this mountain city. The fresh air, the trees in the distance, the picturesque houses & #8211; all of these make a picture to be enjoyed. Then don't hesitate to visit Dimitrie Ghica Park where you can enjoy some delicious pancakes, but also the Sinaia Casino which is located at the edge of the park.

Peles Castle

You can then head to the triumphal Peleș Castle, where you must enjoy the romantic gardens, but also the lush interior. Then you can climb a little further, where you can get on the cable car and climb up to 2000 meters level.

Another tourist destination worth mentioning is the Sinaia Monastery, a place full of peace and positivity.

BEST PLACES TO EAT IN SINAIA

Are you ready for an amazing culinary experience? Then you must go to Carol Gastro Bierhaus, where I recommend you to try the chicken soup and German sausages with potatoes and garlic sauce. Another place I highly recommend you is Carpati Restaurant where traditional meals are beyond the word “tasty”. We also had a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant where we stayed, so you can definitely add it to the list.
